Huge CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who performed today. The country medleys were all very well done, as were the Highland and step dances. I saw a lot of very nice smiles, good interactions with each other and the audience, nice covering, and the performance was a LOT of fun to watch. A BIG thank you to those who stepped up and danced as substitutes, especially Julee who danced London Lad in Kevin’s place. THANK YOU!!!
As always, the music was AWESOME! We missed Michael, but RT Music rocks! THANK YOU to Calli for playing for Butterly Jig — you and Susan were wonderful. Thanks to Lyle for the encouragement about announcing, as well as the great music. You all make the performances so much more special!
I think that Fred and Jennifer would both be very proud. I’m SO thrilled with how well all of the Highland/step dances looked - thank you to everyone for all of your hard work. I think Jimmie would be very happy with the Highland/step dances. Thank you to Bill for joining us for Falls, Clare for returning to dance Butterfly and the 4 Ladies Strathspey, and Candice for joining us to dance World Cup (for 2 — which looked VERY nice), Butterfly, and London Lad. I am looking forward to watching the video :-) (thanks, Marilyn).
