I am very sorry for my delay in thanking you on a very good performance this past Friday for the Stockton Red Hat Society! I’m just back from my weekend trip to LA.
Everything ran like clockwork on Friday!
Both carpools arrived in good time at the hotel venue where the Red Hat ladies were having their luncheon. Many thanks to Julee and Deborah for driving.
We had sufficient changing facilities and nearby restrooms for convenience.Our contact, Marilyn, was very helpful.Sue – thank you for your time and efforts to coordinate the event with Marilyn. Everything was set up as you planned with Marilyn.
Jamie – MANY thanks for setting up and managing the sound system. It worked perfectly!Deborah and Jamie – thank you for helping with the commentating during our performance. I felt the audience was very interested in the information you shared.
Julee and Sue – thank you for taking pictures during the performance and making sure we documented this performance for our archives.Emma – thank you for your performance. Your dancing was beautiful and inspiring, and it certainly helped this country dancer catch his breath between the country dance numbers! Laura, Alan, Geoffrey – thank you for leading the team through rehearsals in the weeks prior to the performance! Your input paid off!Susan, Lyle, Michael – thanks for the recorded music! It felt great to be dancing to the newest recordings!
Thank you all! I am very proud with our teamwork in planning, setting up and executing this performance! I thought we had good energy during the performance – I certainly tried! AND one lady in the audience even complimented us in front of everyone on how “light on our feet” we appeared! High praise indeed!
