Dear Red Thistle Dancers and Friends,
I am currently drinking a glass of wine with Julee and basking in the glow of our success today!
I am VERY proud of the following:
ALL Red Thistle Dancers who dedicate their time and efforts to every project / performance we do to “do it right”!
Paula Jacobsen who dedicates her time and efforts to insure our recorded music is “spot on” and also lends an “eagle eye” to the dance proceedings!
Randi Keppler who is a very loyal Red Thistle who lends her time and expertise to making the Thistles “look great” in all efforts!
Chris Figge, the most talented and patient of videographers, who maintains complete calm while the Artistic Director is going berserk with worry and stress!
The Costume Committee – Diane, Lisa, and Jamie – for their work to make sure the Thistles look as good as we dance!
Lin for scheduling the dancing hall and liaising with the RSCDS on this project.
Jennifer and John Kelly for their decades of leadership and training of all of us Red Thistles that has brought us to this point!
Denise who has been the liaison between Red Thistles and our esteemed videographer.
All Red Thistle dancers who came early this morning to help set up.
All Red Thistle dancers who stayed after the video shoot to break down and clean up.
Rachel and Alan for coaching the dancing set while Fred was in the set.
All the RSCDS-certificated teachers in Red Thistle who initially led the Book 11 dances to the group.
I hope all of you are relaxing and basking in your success! EVERY dancer delivered today! I am very proud of everyone’s performance!
I hope those of you who met for dinner afterward had a great time! MANY thanks to Lisa for organizing this event!
